About the Role
We are looking for a Medical Lead to manage and organise our first aid support and response for students and staff during the school day. This role also includes responsibility for managing first aid procedures and practices for school trips, working with the senior leader who is responsible for leading this area and eventually supporting the leadership of external trips as part of this role. The successful candidate will be the primary contact between school, families and external medical professionals regarding student health and wellbeing.
The successful candidate will be experienced in responding to first aid, have a FAW and/or PFA qualification and be excellent in communicating with students, staff, school families and external agencies regarding medical and wellbeing needs. In addition, you will be a highly organised and efficient in the administration of this area.

Job Requirements
Experience in managing first aid and medical, ideally in a clinical or school setting
Experience of working in a school setting with young people
Up to date knowledge of medical support in schools ‘DFE Guidance Medical Conditions’
Excellent communicator in working with students, staff, school families and external agencies.
An excellent administrator for all medical record keeping.
