The Role

We are looking to appoint a Teacher of Geography who wants to join an experienced, supportive, committed faculty and make a real difference with our young people. A forward-thinking, dynamic teacher will only strengthen our existing team. The opportunity to be Head of Department for Geography exists for the right candidate, accompanied by a TLR 2c £5,873.00. This role is temporary, 1 year from 1st September 2026 - 31st August 2027.

The faculty is well-established, resourced, and highly supportive. Led by a member of the Senior Leadership Team, we work collaboratively, always putting the needs of our students at the forefront of what we do. We would love to show you round our department and our academy. Geography is taught passionately across all year groups, from Year 7 through to Post 16 courses.

Results in Geography are on an upward trend, and we are driven to ensure this continues. This role offers you the opportunity to develop and excel as a teacher, within a strong and effective team of practitioners.
