We are currently seeking a Site Manager at Bowling Park Primary School. The successful candidate will play a key role at the school, working closely with the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team and central Estates team to not only manage the safety and security of the building, but to take a pro-active role in the maintenance and management of the school site and ensure the school complies with all requirements of Health and Safety and risk management.
The Site Manager leads on premises management, including planned and reactive maintenance, health and safety compliance, and the delivery of high-quality facilities services. They oversee a small team of site staff, manage contractors and resources, and ensure that systems, inspections and statutory checks are carried out efficiently to support a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
You will be the first point of contact for staff regarding maintenance, and you will therefore be customer focused, polite and helpful. You will have great interpersonal skills to support and direct colleagues to contribute towards an outstanding learning environment for our pupils.
About our School
Bowling Park Primary is a three-form entry school for children aged 3-11 years old, situated over two sites. One site is situated in the West Bowling area of Bradford and the second site is situated within the East Bowling area of Bradford, a short distance away from one another and easily accessible. Both sites are situated within culturally diverse areas and have built excellent relationships with members of the local community, including parents of the children who attend the school.
