We are seeking a caring, patient and committed person to join us at Robert Le Kyng Primary School.

The successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator to support children both within our complex needs unit and our mainstream school. Support is required both in the classroom and at break/lunch times which would mean having a teaching assistant and midday supervisory assistant contract.

The role will include contributing to the delivery and monitoring of interventions for individuals and small groups, supporting assessments and evidencing learning. You will be working with the teacher to build positive relationships with the children by being approachable, caring and a supportive role model. You will be able to demonstrate empathy and understanding of a child’s individual learning abilities.

Robert Le Kyng Primary School is part of the Blue Kite Academy Trust, a growing family of primary schools based in Swindon and Wiltshire, who offer excellent CPD and career opportunities, a competitive salary with scope for progression, a commitment to nationally agreed pay and terms, an excellent pension scheme and free staff health and well-being support.
