35 hours a week, Monday to Friday 8.30 am – 4.00 pm

This role is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new and developing school which aims to be an outstanding provider to children in the local area.

We are seeking a passionate and creative Highly Skilled Teaching Assistant with a strong interest or expertise in Art and Design Technology to lead learning in our vibrant Creation Station. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire creativity and practical skills across the whole primary age range, delivering engaging art and DT lessons, supporting cross-curricular projects and helping to nurture children’s confidence, problem-solving and self-expression. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, organised and confident leading whole-class sessions, with a genuine belief in the power of creativity and hands-on learning to enhance both achievement and wellbeing. Who are we?

Manor Drive Primary Academy is a new school in the north of Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. The school welcomed the first cohort of Reception children in September 2022 and continues to grow year on year. At Manor Drive Primary Academy we pride ourselves on having a strong wellbeing ethos whilst ensuring our children are the focus of everything we do. Our values of ‘Work Hard, Be Kind and Be Brave” are embedded in our teaching strategies and the expectations we have for staff and pupils.
