About us:
Our Trust was created in January 2018, now in its seventh
year since its formation. It consists of 19 schools which have come together,
based on a shared vision which encompasses the values of both the Cooperative
movement and the Church of England.

phase of its development. As a new member of our team, you will become part of
a Trust which is seeking to make further improvements in performance across its
schools. You will also play an important role in increasing the Trust's
capacity to contribute to the wider national debate on enhancing life chances
for children through education. Growing even stronger partnerships across all
our schools forms an important part of our Trust’s core purpose, as well as

development. Ultimately, you will play an essential role in helping the Trust

within our Trust.
The Role
School Meals
·
1. Kitchen and dining area preparation for lunchtime service and
following service.
·
2. Receive meal delivery from Okehampton College, place in Hot hold cupboard,
record food temperatures.
·
3. Serving food at the main kitchen servery.
·
4. To see that drinking water/juice is provided.
·
5. Carry out kitchen / food compliance in accordance with current
legislation.
·
6. General cleaning of the kitchen and dishwashing.
·
7. Assist generally as directed by the school team.
·
8. Carryout and keep up to date with
Trust and Goosemoor Training.
·
9. To supervise the orderly return of empties to a given point.
·
10. To wipe down tables and sweep the floor between, and at the end
of, sittings as time permits.
·
11. To clean up after spillage of food, water or sickness in dining
area during the service of the meal.
·
12. All other duties required to assist with the smooth running of the
kitchen and areas of service.
· 13. Work with our catering partner Goosemoor Educatering.
General
·
1. To encourage good
behaviour by the effective use of the school’s Behaviour Policy.
· 2. To report to SLT any untoward circumstances, e.g. Safeguarding concerns.
Note: A courteous and helpful manner is always required.

Training Details:
Location: Central Head Office (Wardhayes) 8 Simmons Way, Okehampton, EX20 1PY
Purpose: To provide comprehensive training on company policies, procedures, and systems necessary for successful integration into the role.
Training Schedule: Daily sessions from 9am to 4pm, with breaks provided.
