About this Role

Do you take pride in creating safe, clean, and inspiring environments? Are you proactive, organised, and ready to make a real difference every day? If so, this could be the perfect role for you.

Foxbridge Primary School is seeking a dedicated Site Manager to play a key role in ensuring our school is a welcoming, secure, and well-maintained space where children can thrive.

This role is 20 hours per week. We welcome applications from candidates wishing to work solely at Foxbridge, as well as those interested in combining this position with a second Site Manager role at Drakelow Park Flying High Academy (17 hours). The roles can be appointed separately or combined into a single full-time position across both schools.

About Us

Foxbridge Primary School is a growing one-form entry school which opened in 2022. We pride ourselves on knowing every child as an individual. Our strong sense of community ensures that every pupil is supported, cared for, and challenged to reach their full potential.

We are passionate about providing an inspiring and nurturing environment where both staff and pupils flourish. At the heart of everything we do are strong relationships—with our children, families, and each other.

About Flying High

Flying High Partnership is a thriving multi-academy trust of 38 primary schools across Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottingham City, and Nottinghamshire. We are driven by a shared vision to be unique, exceptional, and sustainable. Our Partnership celebrates individuality, champions continuous improvement, and ensures every child thrives. With a strong focus on school-led professional development and leadership, we’re committed to growing exceptional teachers and inspirational leaders.

Together, we make every day count.

About the Role

As Site Manager, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our school safe, secure, and welcoming for children, staff, and visitors. From overseeing maintenance and repairs to ensuring the security of the premises, you’ll take pride in creating an environment where learning can flourish.

This is a hands-on, varied role requiring practical skills, strong organisation, and a proactive approach.

For candidates interested in a full-time opportunity, this role can be combined with the Site Manager position at Drakelow Park Flying High Academy, supporting both schools across the week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the school site is safe, secure, and well-maintained at all times
  • Carry out maintenance and repairs, ensuring buildings and grounds are kept in excellent condition
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • Liaise with contractors and oversee works on site
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Carry out regular checks, inspections, and record keeping
  • Respond promptly to issues and emergencies
  • Support lettings and wider use of the school site

We Are Looking For

  • Someone who takes pride in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
  • A proactive and positive team member who communicates well and works collaboratively
  • An individual with practical maintenance skills and a good understanding of health and safety
  • Someone organised, dependable, and able to work independently
  • A flexible problem-solver who responds calmly to challenges
  • Someone committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children and staff

We Can Offer You

  • A strong commitment to staff wellbeing and professional development
  • Access to high-quality training and development opportunities
  • Support from a wider network of site professionals across the partnership
  • An employee assistance programme including counselling and wellbeing support
  • A positive, supportive working environment
  • The opportunity to make a genuine difference every day
