Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Level 2
Salary: £10,930 – £11,916 pro rata per annum (FTE £27,926 – £29,080)
Hours: Term-time only (38 weeks), 18 hours per week, Monday–Friday,
08:45–12:36 (includes a 15-minute unpaid break). Start and finish times can be
flexible if required.
Contract: Permanent
Overview
We are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic, and
dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work mainly in Early Years and Key
Stage 1.
The successful candidate will work closely with class
teachers to support children’s learning and development, including those with
special educational needs (SEN), within a classroom setting. You will help to
create a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.
This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a supportive

You may be required to deliver a bespoke curriculum for some
children, with guidance and support from the class teacher and SENDCo.

Person Specification (Requirements):
Essential
·
GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above.
·
Previous experience working with children.
·
Ability to work on your own initiative.
·
Strong communication skills and the ability to
build positive relationships with children and adults.
·
Ability to use relevant technology/equipment.
·
A positive, flexible, team‑focused attitude.
·
A DBS on the update service or willingness to
complete a new one.
Desirable
·
Experience working with children with Special
Educational Needs.
·
Level 3 Teaching Assistant / Early Years
Practitioner qualification.
·
Recent school‑based references (within the last
2 years).
