About this Role

The Creative Learning Partnership Trust are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant, fixed term, initially until 17th July 2026 but with the possibility of contract being extended.

An opportunity has arisen at Greenhall for an enthusiastic, hardworking, nurturing individual, to join our successful team. Greenhall is a Special School for children in the Early Years with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

We are looking for someone who has a child-centred approach at the heart of all they do; who believes in releasing potential in others. This role is to support the needs of a specific pupil in our school – having skills in BSL and / or intervenor training will be an advantage. Willingness to undertake BSL Level 1 (if not already qualified) is essential.

Training, support and coaching will be offered to the successful candidate to ensure they are successful in their duties.

  The successful applicant will;

·         Have experience of working with or caring for children aged 5 and under

·         Be a caring individual

·         Be a team player

·         Support the teacher to ensure the daily routine promotes independence and opportunities are maximised

·         Support pupils in all aspects of their learning and care

·         Comply with school policies and procedures

·         Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people

·         Work closely with parents/carers and other professionals

·         Have a sound understanding of the needs of a child with MSI

Part-time, term time only, fixed term until 17th July 2026 (27.5 hours / week, Mon-Fri 9am-3pm)

Salary Range : Grade 5 FTE £25,183 - £26,409

Actual Salary : Grade 5, £18,505 - £19,406 term-time only
