Grade 3 SCP3-SCP4

REQUIRED ASAP

St Mark’s Catholic Primary School is a heavily over-subscribed one form entry school situated in the heart of the community it serves. We are incredibly proud of what we achieve having being judged as ‘Outstanding’ in our most recent RE, Collective Worship and Catholic Life Inspection and has a very strong Catholic ethos and excellent Parish links. Our school was last inspected by Ofsted in February 2025, when we were judged to be a good school in all areas.

St Mark’s provides a happy and safe environment where everyone, children and adults alike, are provided with support and opportunities to ensure you can achieve your God given potential.

Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and reliable Level 2 Teaching Assistant who is eager to support the progress of our diverse learners in class. The role will be to lead 1 to 1 and small group interventions; be able to support the learning of pupils and be able to evidence the impact of your work upon their learning in order to plug gaps and accelerate progress. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant to join our school. The successful applicant will be an inspiring, confident, committed teaching assistant who has the interests of our children at the heart of all they do, securing strong outcomes for all.

Visits to the school are encouraged. Please contact the school office on 0121 357 9892 to arrange an appointment.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children; therefore, the post is subject to social media check, medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.

We are committed to equality of opportunity for all staff and applications from individuals are encouraged regardless of any protected characteristic.

All applicants must be able to provide documentation to prove their right to work in the UK.

All shortlisted candidates are now subject to an online social media check and if there is anything concerning, then the shortlisted candidate will be asked to comment on it either prior or at interview.
