Behind every successful school is an organised and welcoming front office - the person who keeps everything running smoothly, offers a friendly first impression, and takes care of the many small but important details that support both children and staff each day.

St Joseph’s is a caring, friendly, and ambitious school where happy children develop a genuine love of learning. Guided by our shared values - together we love, we learn, we live - we nurture independent thinkers and lifelong learners. Our pupils grow in confidence, show respect for others, and are ready to take on the world.

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Office Administrator who takes pride in their work and plays a vital role in supporting the daily life of the school. You will join a supportive, welcoming, and values-driven community.

We are looking for someone who:

· Provides a calm, friendly, and professional front-of-house presence, welcoming visitors, answering calls, and supporting parents with enquiries.

· Keeps accurate records and supports the smooth day-to-day running of the school through strong organisation, ICT skills, and attention to detail.

· Manages pupil information and attendance efficiently, with the ability to prioritise and stay composed in a busy environment.

· Supports a wide range of administrative tasks, including communications, bookings, and general office duties, with a proactive, “can-do” approach.

· Works closely with staff to meet pupils’ day-to-day needs, demonstrating teamwork, efficiency, and empathy.

At our school, you will find:

· Children who are enthusiastic, kind and eager to learn

· A genuinely supportive and collaborative staff team

· A school where wellbeing and professional trust are valued

· Opportunities for training, development and growing your expertise

· A strong sense of community where every member is known and valued

St Joseph's is proud to be part of The Dunstan Catholic Educational Trust, offering excellent professional development and collaboration across a family of schools throughout the South West.
