About this Role

  • Required as soon as possible
  • Permanent, 15 hours per week, TTO plus 5 additional days
  • Monday to Friday, 3 hours per day to be worked between 3.30pm - 9pm (to be negotiated)
  • Salary NJC Grade A1, Scale Point 2
  • Actual salary £8,493 per annum (full time equivalent salary £24,413 per annum)

The Governors of this high achieving, oversubscribed Catholic Voluntary Academy seek to appoint a Cleaner to join their team.

The postholder will carry out duties such as cleaning designated areas within the school premises to ensure that they are kept in a clean and hygienic standard. Protective clothing is provided.

What are we looking for?

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of a designated area and maintaining high and consistent standards including, washing, sweeping, vacuuming and toilets, complying with Health and safety requirements at all times.

The post includes a substantial amount of lifting, bending and stretching.
