Assistant Site Controller – to start as soon as possible


Grade:                                         BG-I Range

Hours:                                         39hrs per week / 52 weeks of the year

Salary Range:                          £28,096 - £31,935 per annum including Fridge Allowance

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and hard-working person for the role of Assistant Site Controller, to contribute to the safety, security and day-to-day running of the school premises and site.

  • Do you have good maintenance skills and knowledge?

  • Do you spot maintenance needs and take the initiative to make repairs as a matter of urgency?

  • Are you health and safety conscious?

The most important part of this role is to ensure that the school and grounds are safe, secure and clean for our students, staff and visitors who use the building and to take pride in ensuring that the duties are carried out to a high standard.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable person who:

  • Can carry out a range of core duties successfully, including cleaning, tidying, monitoring of utilities, manual handling, some minor repair work, etc.

  • Will accompany contractors around the site if necessary

  • Is willing to lock and unlock the school outside of normal school hours for occasional events

  • Is flexible and resourceful and will solve problems proactively

  • Is prepared to undertake any relevant training

  • Is approachable and will develop good professional relationships with everyone at the school
