We are seeking a highly effective,
creative, and inspirational Physical Education Teacher to join Kitts Green
Academy, part of Thrive Education Partnership a growing Multi-Academy Trust
serving specialist schools across the West Midlands.
Kitts Green Academy is a specialist
provision for up to 100 boys aged 6–16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health
(SEMH) needs, with some pupils also having diagnoses of Autism Spectrum
Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
All of our pupils have an Education,
Health and Care Plan (EHCP), identifying key development targets. Teachers are
well-supported by experienced teaching assistants, ensuring pupils make
meaningful progress toward their individual goals.
About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and
motivated PE specialist who is passionate about helping students develop
physically, socially, and emotionally.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a skilled and dedicated PE teacher committed to enabling
students to reach their full potential
- Have experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs, in either a
specialist or mainstream setting
- Work collaboratively with support staff and senior leaders to
deliver high-quality educational provision
- Demonstrate empathy, resilience, and understanding when working
with pupils who may present with challenging behaviours linked to their
needs
