We are
seeking an inspiring and proactive Head of Year to join our pastoral
team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about
helping young people overcome barriers, thrive academically and personally to
achieve their very best in school.
As Head of
Year, you will play a key role in supporting students, families and colleagues,
ensuring that every child receives the care and challenge they need to succeed.
You will lead day-to-day pastoral support for an allocated year group, with a
strong focus on behaviour, attendance, punctuality, achievement and progress.
We are
looking for someone who can build positive relationships quickly, communicate
with confidence and sensitivity, and work effectively with families, staff and
external agencies. You will be proactive in identifying need, planning
interventions, monitoring impact and ensuring that students are supported
through timely, effective pastoral care.

of working with children and young people, supporting them to overcome barriers
