Cuddles with our School Dog, Edie
This is a happy and ambitious school. Pupils and staff have warm,
supportive, and positive relationships. Pupils trust adults in the school and
know that they want the best for them. Pupils rise to the high expectations
that adults have for how well they achieve and behave. Pupils take
responsibility for their own learning. They also act as thoughtful and kind
citizens by encouraging and supporting their peers in lessons.
The school is fully inclusive. Pupils with special educational needs
and/or disabilities (SEND) are well supported by both staff and their peers.
Pupils appreciate that everyone is different. As one pupil said, ‘Some children
may not learn or see the world the same way.’ This compassion comes through in
pupils’ supportive behaviour and attitudes.
(St Edward’s Ofsted January 2025)
We are committed to the protection and
safeguarding of our pupils and the successful candidate will have to undertake
an enhanced DBS check.
