The successful candidate must have a firm but fair approach to working with children and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. It is important that you have the ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships with the children, staff and parents.
You will work closely with our
teachers to support children in their learning, helping to create a positive,
safe and inclusive environment where every child can thrive and reach their
full potential. The role is varied and rewarding, including supporting pupils one-to-one,
working with small groups, preparing learning resources, providing lunchtime
cover and contributing to the wider life of the school.
This position will
involve working closely with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
(SEND). You will support children both individually and in small groups,
helping to meet their specific learning and emotional needs. The role will also
include setting up and resourcing small group activities for SEND pupils,
working with other Educational Teaching Assistants (ETAs) to ensure
high-quality provision and support.
