- Use a range of active learning strategies and
planned formative assessment to maximise progress.
- Create a purposeful, inclusive, and positive
classroom environment where all students thrive.
- Plan and deliver lessons and schemes of work in
line with school policies and curriculum requirements.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress,
providing clear feedback to support improvement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues,
parents/carers, and external agencies to support student success.
What We’re Looking For
- A high‑quality degree with Science or PE as the
main or significant focus.
- PGCE with QTS/QTLS (or willingness to work
towards).
- A passionate, dynamic classroom practitioner with
the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Strong knowledge of active learning and innovative
teaching approaches.
- Ability to differentiate effectively and meet the
needs of all learners, including those with SEND.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A team player who contributes positively, shares
ideas, and collaborates effectively.
- Commitment to high expectations, professional
learning, and continuous improvement.
