About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our safeguarding and student welfare team. This is a part‑time, flexible role, working 20 hours per week, term‑time plus an additional 2 weeks, making it ideal for candidates seeking a role that fits alongside other commitments while making a meaningful difference to young people’s lives.
Key Duties
• Manage, record and investigate safeguarding concerns in line with statutory guidance, using CPOMS
• Provide targeted support to students through interventions and regular welfare checks
• Work closely with families and liaise with external agencies to support student wellbeing
• Contribute to Early Help processes and multi‑agency meetings
• Maintain accurate and confidential records, ensuring safeguarding and compliance requirements are met
What We’re Looking For
• Experience of working with vulnerable children or young people
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships
• Ability to manage a varied workload and handle sensitive information appropriately
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
