We are looking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and dedicated teacher.  The successful candidate will teach deliver core lessons and curriculum enhancement to two KS3 classes of mixed ability pupils.  At Bure Park, pupils follow an adapted version of the National Curriculum, sit SATS in Year 6 and complete GCSEs amongst other qualifications in Y11.  The ideal candidate will have experience of and / or an aptitude for working with pupils with SEMH.  The successful candidate will be innovative and flexible in their approaches to learning.

Bure Park Specialist Academy is a residential SEMH Academy for boys from Year 2 through to Year 11. The multi-disciplinary team consists of Care Staff, Teachers and TAs who facilitate the Academy’s  aims of broadening pupils’ experiences, providing an aspirational education and ensuring that all pupils feel respected, valued, confident in learning and ready to succeed in life.

Pupils arrive at the school with disrupted educational experiences and complex difficulties and our teams are responsible for ensuring that they leave with superb outcomes academically, socially and behaviourally.
