We are looking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and dedicated teacher. The successful candidate will initially teach two KS3 classes of mixed ability pupils. At Bure Park, pupils follow an adapted version of the National Curriculum, sit SATS in Year 6 and complete GCSEs amongst other qualifications in Y11. The role would ideally suit either a secondary teacher with experience of teaching a range of subjects or a teacher with experience of upper primary. The ideal candidate will have experience of and / or an aptitude for working with pupils with SEMH. The successful candidate will be innovative and flexible in their approaches to learning.
Bure Park Specialist Academy is a residential SEMH Academy for boys from Year 2 through to Year 11. The multi-disciplinary team consists of Care Staff, Teachers and TAs who facilitate the Academy’s aims of re-integrating pupils into their home environment and when appropriate mainstream school. Pupils arrive at the school with disrupted educational experiences and complex difficulties and our teams are responsible for ensuring that they leave with superb outcomes academically, socially and behaviourally.
