Buckton Fields Primary School is part of the Preston Hedges Trust, a growing, high performing Trust based in Milton Keynes and Northampton.
The Assistant Principal for Inclusion will provide strategic
leadership to embed an inclusive culture across the school, ensuring that every
child can achieve their full potential.
This role will be non‑class based and will be a key member of the
Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
The role will oversee provision for pupils with special educational

As the Assistant Principal for Inclusion, you will have the opportunity to:
· - Be part of a Trust-wide group of Assistant Principals for Inclusion, enabling you to share best practice, seek support and collaborate within a vibrant and supportive professional network.
- Serve as a key member of the school’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT), contributing to whole‑school strategic decision‑making.
· - Work closely with the Principal to develop, implement and evaluate the school’s Inclusion Strategy, shaping inclusive practice at both school and trust level, rather than within a single setting alone.
· - Engage in high‑quality, continuous professional development within
a Trust that is committed to nurturing talent and supporting succession
planning for future leadership roles.
· · Benefit from a bespoke onboarding programme, both prior to starting the role and throughout your induction period, ensuring a supported and successful transition.
· - Access a comprehensive wellbeing package, including (but not
limited to) free GP consultations for you and your family, physiotherapy and
counselling services, as well as leadership coaching.
