Be part of a team where passion meets purpose, as we work together where the challenge is greatest to change the lives and build the futures of children and young people.
We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Site Supervisor to join our dedicated team at Ormiston Kensington Queensmill Academy.
This is a key role in ensuring the academy’s buildings and grounds are safe, secure, and maintained to the highest standards. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, manage contractors, lead maintenance tasks, and ensure health and safety compliance across all facilities.
The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining an outstanding learning environment for our pupils—young people with autism and complex learning needs—by ensuring every classroom, corridor, and outdoor space is welcoming, functional, and safe.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, professional, and takes pride in their work. You will have a strong understanding of facilities management, health and safety, and building maintenance, along with the ability to lead a small team and work collaboratively with academy staff.
The successful candidate will require:
Experience as a caretaker, Site Supervisor, or in a similar facilities/estates management role.
Sound knowledge of building maintenance, electrical, mechanical, and infrastructure systems.
Understanding of health and safety, fire safety, first aid, and risk management procedures.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
A flexible, hands-on approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Competence in using ICT systems for maintenance records and compliance logs.

with excellent autism-specific facilities and resources, allowing us to manage
our young people’s needs effectively. Our curriculum is highly differentiated

We have an enthusiastic, dedicated, and highly trained professional team committed to providing the highest standard of holistic education for all our young people. We have created a supportive, friendly, and nurturing environment that enables all young people to feel safe and well looked after.
