You will work across the school in all key stages to be part of our special school for pupils with Communication and Interaction (C&I) needs, starting from September 2026. This is a unique and extremely exciting opportunity to work in a truly outstanding provision where pupils with specific needs genuinely excel. The length of your previous experience as an excellent classroom practitioner is less important to us than your clear vision on what can be achieved for our pupils, your understanding of high standards and your ability to motivate and inspire.

Our successful colleague will have an unstinting belief that every young person, whatever their starting point or circumstances, can make and sustain exceptional progress and that our purpose is to change lives.

As well as having a passion for young people and their futures our colleague will:

  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner and Art specialist at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Have the ability to plan and devise creative opportunities with colleagues to unlock their potential

  • Have experience of working with others to improve classroom practice
  • Bring an unwavering commitment to doing whatever it takes
  • Understand how to support colleagues with a range of experience and help them to always be brilliant teachers.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on an ambitious role aimed at making a real impact on and the outcomes for our pupils.
