We are seeking a highly organised, professional and approachable Administrative Assistant to join our busy primary school office team. This key role is central to the smooth day-to-day operation of the school and provides an opportunity to make a positive contribution to the wider school community. As the first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff, governors, contractors and visitors, you will provide a welcoming and efficient front-of-house service while supporting a wide range of administrative functions across the school.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries, maintaining accurate pupil and school records, processing attendance information, coordinating meetings and appointments, and supporting school communications, events and activities. Working closely with school leaders, teaching staff and external agencies, you will handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion and accuracy.

This is a varied and fast-paced role that requires excellent communication, organisational and IT skills, together with the ability to prioritise competing demands and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, proactive and committed to delivering a high standard of administrative support, helping to create a positive, efficient and welcoming environment for all members of the school community.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organised individual seeking a part-time role within a friendly and supportive primary school environment. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the daily operation of the school and contributing to a positive experience for pupils, families, staff and visitors.
