This role is a part time role at 0.5 (2 ½ days) however, the school will
consider 0.6 (3 days) for the right candidate.

Lead in key areas across the whole school, including: be
the School SENDCo, be the designated teacher, EAL lead and work as part of the
large safeguarding team

Be able to support a range of middle leaders, teachers
and teaching assistants in providing an excellent education to the children in
our care.
·
Have excellent communication and organisational skills
·
Be hard working, enthusiastic and fully committed to the
school
·
Lead on all SEND needs in the school and through training
etc create a school that excels in the provision for children with additional
needs
·
Be an outstanding classroom practitioner, who can lead by
example and work with staff in a variety of roles
·
Have the NASENCO award or NPQSENCO or other relevant
qualification, and where someone does not have these, be willing to undertake
the NPQSENCO award
·
Have experience in working with outside agencies
