Welcome
to Orchard Manor School
At Orchard Manor School, we are proud to be a genuinely
inclusive community where every pupil is recognised, valued and supported to
feel a true sense of belonging. Our ethos is rooted in our core values of
respect, relationships, kindness, community, and health & happiness, which
are evident in everything we do and the way we work together each day.
We are a specialist setting with an outstanding
residential provision, supporting pupils aged 4–19 with autism, communication
and interaction needs, as well as additional learning needs. Everything we do is centred around the child.
By building strong, trusting relationships with pupils, families and
professionals, we create a safe and nurturing environment where young people
feel understood, respected and empowered to thrive.
A significant part of our curriculum focuses on
Communication, Language & Literature, delivered through a Total
Communication approach. We recognise that communication is fundamental to
wellbeing - supporting pupils’ health and happiness, enabling them to express
themselves, build connections, and fully engage with the world around them.
