The Opportunity

We offer a very diverse programme of PE and School Sport for all our children and are very proud of the progress we are making, what we achieve with our pupils and how we overcome the challenges. 

 

About the Role

In order to fulfil this role you will be required to: 

·         Have a sense of humour and fun, a willingness to learn and the ability to work positively in a team 

·         Have experience of working with, planning for, and delivering to Early Years pupils right through to at least Secondary aged pupils 

·         Have sound knowledge of the fundamentals of movement and how to develop and apply these 

·         Have excellent subject knowledge across all key stages and activities 

·         Have experience of delivering Sports Leadership 

·         Be innovative and not afraid to try new ideas 

·         Be exceptionally hard working 

·         Have a positive outlook 

·         Be well organised and able to plan ahead 

 

About You

We are looking for a PE teacher who wants to make a genuine difference as part of a values-led school community.

You will:

·         Ideally have experience of working within a special educational needs (SEN) setting

·         Be passionate about inclusive education and improving outcomes for pupils with autism and communication needs

·         Use a relational, calm and consistent approach to support learning, behaviour and wellbeing

·         Be flexible and reflective, able to adapt teaching to highly personalised needs

·         Work effectively as part of a team and value collaboration with families and professionals

·         Hold high expectations for all learners
