We are seeking an enthusiastic Payroll Officer to take on payroll for schools within our Trust.
Primary responsibilities will include the accurate and timely administration of the monthly payroll for some of the Trust’s 700+ employees utilising the Edupay system and working with Edupay to ensure timely and accurate monthly submissions, pension schemes and all regulatory bodies (e.g. HMRC). You will be required to interpret and process large volumes of complex and sensitive payroll and pension related information and be the first point of contact for pay related queries.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, proven data analysis and numeracy experience with exceptional attention to detail. You will have an understanding, or willingness to develop and an aptitude to learn, financial processes and procedures, and of basic financial policies and accounting code structures including purchase ledgers.
