About this Role
We are seeking an ambitious and passionate teacher to lead KS3 English, driving excellence in curriculum, teaching and student outcomes. Working closely with the Head of English, you will shape and deliver a challenging, knowledge-rich curriculum that inspires a love of reading, writing and oracy while ensuring all students make strong progress.
The role involves leading collaborative curriculum planning, monitoring the quality of teaching and assessment, supporting colleagues through coaching and CPD, and using assessment effectively to secure outstanding outcomes for all learners, particularly disadvantaged and SEND students. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring or experienced middle leader to make a significant impact on the quality of English education across Key Stage 3 and contribute to the wider development of the department and school.
