About this Role

Working within the busy environment of the school office and reception area, the successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming all visitors to the school.  As the central point of contact for students, staff and parents, you will be dealing with queries in person, by phone, email and post in an efficient and accurate manner. 

Excellent organisational skills are essential in order to provide an administrative, reprographic and reception service and a variety of tasks which need to be undertaken. 

Job Details

Hours of Work: 23.5 Hours Per Week, Term Time  + 1  Week (40 Weeks Per year) 

                 Monday & Wednesday 8:30-5pm, Friday 8:30-4:30pm

About the Role

As the first point of contact for students, staff, parents and visitors, you will help maintain the smooth running of our reception area and wider school office. You’ll provide high‑quality administrative support, ensure all visitors feel welcomed, and uphold our strong safeguarding culture. No two days are the same, and your ability to stay organised and positive will be highly valued.


Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming visitors and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed
  • Responding to enquiries via phone, email and in person
  • Managing student queries
  • Maintaining a tidy, organised and professional reception environment
  • Supporting reprographics and general office tasks
  • Communicating effectively with staff, students, parents and external agencies
