Vacancy for a Key Stage 1 Class Teacher at The Bluecoat School

Salary: MPS/UPS 

Hours 100% full time


We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and forward-thinking Key Stage One Teacher with phonics experience to join The Bluecoat School. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference to childrens learning and development by delivering creative and engaging lessons. We are looking for a phonics leader to continue to drive our improving standards forward. You will be child focused and resilient, interested in being part of and committing to the Bluecoat community. You will provide a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment for all Key Stage One children to help them achieve their full potential and a love for learning.

The ideal candidate: 

  • Phonics experience
  • QTS teaching qualification 
  • Experience of teaching Key Stage One/Two 
  • Possesses outstanding communication skills and can work well in a team 
  • An understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues
