Chiltern Way Academy Wokingham is a specialist Academy for students aged 8–16 with Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC). We are dedicated to building confidence, character and resilience, and delivering a personalised, engaging curriculum that prepares our learners for life beyond school.
We are seeking an inspiring Assistant Headteacher to join our leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
· Work with the Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher and wider Trust leadership team to lead high-quality teaching, learning and whole-school improvement.
· Contribute to a calm, safe and purposeful school culture.
· Model outstanding teaching and coach colleagues to develop their practice.
· Support curriculum design that motivates learners and promotes future employment pathways.
· Lead staff development, communication and performance management.
· Promote excellent behaviour, wellbeing and personal development.
· Provide accurate reporting to parents, Trustees and external partners.
