At Chiltern Way Academy Trust, we are dedicated to supporting young people with ASC and SEMH through innovative and nurturing education. We are looking for a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to support a child on a one to one basis, to help them thrive both in and out of the classroom.
What You’ll Do
Support the teacher in delivering learning activities
Work with the individual to help them progress
Promote positive behaviour, engagement and independence
Help create a calm, safe and supportive learning environment
Build positive relationships with students and staff
Assist with basic planning, preparation and classroom organisation
What We’re Looking For
Someone patient, flexible and enthusiastic
Able to build positive relationships with young people
A team player with good communication skills
Experience working with children or young people
GCSE English & Maths (A–C) and ideally NVQ Level 2
