This is a non-class-based role with a minimum of 2 days per week dedicated to SEND and inclusion leadership. The postholder will
also provide some PPA / leadership cover across the week as part of their wider contribution to the school
The successful candidate will:
- Lead and coordinate high-quality SEND provision, ensuring statutory processes are well managed and pupils receive personalised
support.
- Support the opening and day-to-day coordination of our new Specialist Resource Provision (Communication & Interaction), helping
staff provide an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
- Coordinate and monitor the effective use of pupil premium funding to support disadvantaged pupils and contribute to improved
outcomes.
- Provide guidance, coaching and practical support to staff to develop inclusive practice across the school.
- Contribute to the work of the senior leadership team with a focus on SEND, inclusion and removing barriers to learning
