About this Role

Are you looking for new opportunities in a school where the children always come first? Are you committed to providing the best learning experiences for each and every  child? Do you want to develop as a teacher within a Trust that offers great opportunities for career development?

If the answer is ‘Yes’ then we want to hear from you!

Ruskin Infant School is seeking an EYFS teacher to join our team. We welcome teachers from all stages of their teaching journey.

Our ‘why?’ at Lion Academy Trust is “Because children only get one chance to benefit from a great education.” This is our reason for everything that we do.

We are a forward-thinking, caring and, most important of all, happy school where pupils of all abilities and social backgrounds achieve. Our children are at the heart of everything we do and all the decisions we make. Our children are well-behaved and always aspire to be “the best versions of themselves”.

We are a popular and fully-inclusive Infant school & Nursery school situated in Wellingborough. We became a member of the Lion Academy Trust in January 2021 and are well on our journey to making Ruskin Infant School an outstanding school.

We are looking for an EYFS teacher who is committed to be as effective as they can be for our children. We want to recruit staff that can engage and inspire both pupils and colleagues. Successful candidates will be resilient, hardworking and willing to go the extra mile to ensure that our provision is 'Good or better, everyday'. We have a strong track record for developing extremely successful and effective teaching staff and we would love to support you to have a fantastic teaching experience.

As an employer we pride ourselves on being caring and supportive with dedicated career development pathways for teachers.

We have a fully resourced school and an embedded Trust pedagogy. This includes a developed programme of investment in the IT infrastructure and environment of the school both internally and externally.

What we can offer you:

  • A dynamic leadership team, to offer you the support and guidance that you need;

  • A teaching team that is united in their commitment and passion for delivering the very best for our children - with a smile!

  • Bespoke Trust CPD and external professional development opportunities;

  • Teachers benefit from teacher development time in addition to PPA to support their personal growth;

  • A network of schools which provides you with a group of staff, wider than your school, to learn from and be supported by;

  • Cutting-edge technology provided by partners Google and Apple;

  • All teachers receive a Chromebook that converts to a tablet, to support planning.

  • A staff perks membership: providing loyalty rewards and discounts from retailers;

  • Any employee assistance programme that is free to all employees and their families

The Headteacher would be very happy to show you around our wonderful school but please also visit our school website and Facebook page where you will find a recently filmed video and lots of other information that will give you a real insight into our school community.

Please contact the school office on school@ruskininfant.net to arrange a visit.

If you require any further information, please email the school office on school@ruskininfant.net

 We look forward to hearing from you and receiving your application.
