About this Role

The Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) works with the teachers to support teaching and learning, providing general and specific assistance to pupils and staff under the direction, guidance and supervision of the classroom teacher, teaches groups and teaches whole classes under the guidance of the class teacher.
