At Holne Chase Primary School, we are excited to be recruiting for the brand‑new role of Assistant Principal for Inclusion, commencing in September 2026, including the opportunity to open and lead our new SEND provision.
Holne Chase Primary School is part of the Preston Hedges Trust, a growing, high‑performing Trust based in Milton Keynes and Northampton. We sit at the heart of the Bletchley community, nurturing children and families to become the best global citizens they can be. Guided by our ‘Changemaker’ philosophy, pupils are inspired to pursue their dreams through a curriculum rooted in Fun, Creativity and Achievement. We ignite passions, build aspiration and foster a lifelong thirst for learning, empowering our children to become confident, global changemakers.
As an Assistant Principal for Inclusion you will provide strategic leadership to embed an inclusive culture across the school, ensuring that every child can achieve their full potential. This role will initially be without class responsibility, but possible teaching and you will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) before opening and leading our new SEND provision, opening in April 2027.
The role will oversee provision for pupils with special educational needs (SEND) and other vulnerable learners, ensuring that all pupils are able to make excellent progress and achieve the best possible outcomes.
We are seeking a leader who is passionate about inclusion and who truly believes that every child thrives when they experience a deep sense of belonging, supported by a shared philosophy of fun, creativity and achievement.
As the Assistant Principal for Inclusion, you will have the opportunity to:
Be part of a Trust-wide group of Assistant Principals for Inclusion, enabling you to share best practice, seek support and collaborate within a vibrant and supportive professional network.
Serve as a key member of the school’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT), contributing to whole‑school strategic decision‑making.
Work closely with the Principal to develop, implement and evaluate the school’s Inclusion Strategy, shaping inclusive practice at both school and trust level, rather than within a single setting alone.
Engage in high‑quality, continuous professional development within a Trust that is committed to nurturing talent and supporting succession planning for future leadership roles.
Benefit from a bespoke onboarding programme, both prior to starting the role and throughout your induction period, ensuring a supported and successful transition.
Access a comprehensive wellbeing package, including (but not limited to) free GP consultations for you and your family, physiotherapy and counselling services, as well as leadership coaching.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Successful experience as a leader in education, with a track record of delivering school improvement priorities.
A leader who is passionate about Inclusion
A clear understanding of high-quality teaching, learning and assessment.
A commitment to our Trust values of Ambition, Drive, Excellence & One Team
