PART TIME INTERVENTION TEACHER (YEAR 6) – SEPTEMBER 2026

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Year 6 Intervention Teacher to join our team for the 2026–2027 academic year. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact, working closely with pupils to accelerate progress and secure outstanding end-of-key-stage results.
Start Date: 1st September 2026

Hours: Part Time - 15hrs a week
Salary: Main Pay Scale 1 – 6 (Actual: £15,192 - £20,932)
Contract: Fixed Term Contact (1 year)

As our Year 6 Intervention Teacher, you will:
Deliver targeted, high-quality small group lessons in reading, writing and mathematics
Work alongside the Year 6 team to identify gaps and plan tailored support programmes
Track pupil progress carefully and adapt teaching strategies to maximise impact
Inspire confidence, resilience and a love of learning in pupils approaching SATs
Contribute to a culture of high expectations and excellence across Key Stage 2
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Is an excellent classroom practitioner with strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
Has a proven track record of raising attainment, particularly in upper Key Stage 2
Brings energy, creativity and precision to intervention teaching
Is highly organised, analytical, and responsive to pupil needs
Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively with staff and families
Is committed to ensuring every child achieves their very best
