Salary: Band A Point 1 - 6
(£13,346.74 – £14,413.87 per annum)
23 hours and 45 minutes per week
Monday – Friday, 8:45am – 1:30pm
38 weeks of the year – term time plus inset days
Start Date: April 2026

A new opportunity has arisen, for a part time Learning
Support Assistant to join our successful team supporting students in the
classroom. Warren Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring,
committed and flexible Learning Support Assistant, to support student learning
and educational outcomes. The successful candidate will have a good
understanding of child development and learning and will be willing to support
children with both their physical and academic needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to take on a crucial role to enable pupils access to learning, by supervising and assisting pupils (one to one and in small groups) across a wide range of activities and supported learning activities within our school and make a difference to the life chances of children at Warren Primary School. You will work in partnership with class teachers, to support learning in line with the National Curriculum.

This role would be suited to someone enthusiastic, personable, empathetic and able to communicate effectively, whilst maintaining a calm and professional manner, under pressure. You will need to understand the subjects that you support the children in, be able to demonstrate a fair attitude and apply rules consistently and be confident in adjusting learning programs to meet the child’s needs.
