We are seeking to appoint inspirational and committed practitioners to join our Outreach Student and Family Engagement (SAFE) Team as part of an exciting pilot outreach programme working with partner secondary schools across Key Stages 3 and 4. The operational area for the role will be the south-west quadrant of Surrey.
This pilot project is designed to strengthen early intervention and inclusive practice, supporting children with emerging Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), behavioural, and pastoral needs. The role will contribute to reducing barriers to learning, improving engagement, and preventing escalation to more intensive provision and risk of permanent exclusion.
This role is for 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday, term time only on a 1 year fixed term contract. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting vulnerable young people to achieve their potential. They will have experience of mentoring young people, a good all-round knowledge of supporting the education of students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, excellent organisational schools and a good sense of humour. A car and appropriate insurance are essential for this role.
