St George and St Teresa is a welcoming school where all staff work tirelessly and care hugely for our wonderful, well-behaved children. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Class Teacher with responsibility for SEND to work at St George and St Teresa Catholic Primary School, part of Our Lady and All Saints MAC.

We are seeking a teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will:

·       Be fully supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school.

·       Have a desire and a passion to work with young children.

As SENDco;

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of the school's SEND strategy and policy
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date SEND records, including the SEND register, provision maps, and pupil profiles.
  • Coordinate and monitor the progress and outcomes of students with SEND
  • Liaise with parents, teachers, and external agencies to provide the best support for students
  • Deliver training to staff on SEND issues and strategies

As a Class Teacher;

·       Be creative and devoted to providing children with rich learning experiences.

·       Be an outstanding teacher

·       Have excellent teaching, organisation and communication skills.

·       Have good interpersonal skills, able to work effectively as a team. member with colleagues, parents and governors.

·       Be committed to developing the whole child

·       Challenge pupils of all abilities and be committed to raising standards.

·       Have a strong commitment to their own learning and professional development.
