About this Role

We are looking for a committed and reliable Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will help ensure that lunchtime is a safe, enjoyable, and positive experience for all children. You will supervise pupils during lunch, promote good behaviour, and support their wellbeing both in the dining hall and on the playground.

The ideal candidate will:
  • Enjoy working with children in a school setting
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with both pupils and colleagues
  • Understand the importance of safeguarding and child protection
  • Be approachable, patient, and able to manage a range of situations calmly

Experience of working in a primary school is desirable although full training will be given.  You must be organised, positive and able to build good relationships with both the children and your colleagues.  Excellent communication skills, the ability to use your initiative and to work independently are important  skills for this role.
