St Ann’s Primary School could be the place for you.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated class teacher to join our team from September 2026. We welcome applications from teachers with some experience and a passion for Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will be committed to ensuring that every child thrives, and will embrace our school’s core values of promoting Respect in everything we do.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

Assess and monitor children’s progress, providing feedback and support as needed.

Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to enhance the educational experience.

Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.

 The ideal candidate will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Experience teaching in KS2.

Strong understanding of child development and educational best practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to the school's vision and values.

Experience in raising standards and outcomes for children from deprived backgrounds. 

A proven track record of raising standards in a primary setting.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Commitment to inclusion and ensuring equity in education.

A passion and commitment to inspiring young minds through engaging, dynamic, and imaginative approaches.
