About this Role

Rosecliffe Spencer Academy are looking for a fun, caring, enthusiastic and proactive Play Leader to join our friendly team.  The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting our OPAL Play ethos and helping to make lunchtimes a happy, fun, safe and engaging experience for our pupils. 

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is patient, tolerant, sympathetic and fair
  • Can initiate play and encourage children to be the best version of themselves
  • Is hard working and conscientious
  • Has excellent listening skills
  • Can work independently, show initiative and stay calm under pressure
  • Has an ability to build strong, trusting relationships

Rosecliffe Spencer Academy opened in September 2020 and is at the heart of a growing community in Edwalton, Nottinghamshire. We have a diverse community with approximately 450 children ranging from Nursery to Year 6. OPAL Play was introduced  in 2024 and has promoted play throughout school at lunchtime.
