Are you driven by ambition to
improve student outcomes through exceptional attendance systems?
Do you have the character to
build strong relationships with families and support young people to re-engage
with education?
If so, Richard Barnes Academy
could be the place for you.
Your
role:
As
Attendance Officer (maternity cover), you will lead on attendance strategy and
management, ensuring every learner is accounted for, every absence is followed
up, and every barrier to attendance is challenged. You will work proactively
with families, staff and external agencies to reduce absence and improve
punctuality, using systems, insight and persistence to help students succeed.
Alongside
this, you will take ownership of the Academy’s MIS, ensuring data is accurate,
compliant and effectively used by colleagues. From census returns to reporting,
from training staff on systems to improving processes, your work will ensure
the Academy runs smoothly and intelligently.
You
will thrive in this role if you are confident analysing data, maintaining
meticulous records and using MIS systems. You will be a strong communicator,
able to influence and build trust with parents, colleagues and external
partners. You will bring resilience, initiative and the ability to manage
multiple priorities, alongside a clear understanding of attendance expectations
and safeguarding responsibilities.
