About this Role
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Cook who enjoys working as part of a team to create healthy and delicious meals, aligned with our school values, contributing to creating a nurturing and inclusive school culture. Experience of working in a commercial kitchen environment is essential in this varied and rewarding role.
You will assist the Cook in preparing all meals and ensure that the regulations pertaining to the safe and hygienic operation of the kitchen are met.
You will assist in managing the Kitchen Assistants to provide a smooth efficient food service and be responsible for complying to guidelines and standards, assisting in ordering of goods, paperwork and keeping records up to date when necessary.
