About this Role

Are you brilliant with children and want to join a great school with amazing pupils, welcoming parents/carers and an inclusive staff team? St Marys is looking for a Higher level Teaching assistant to join this fantastic school based in the heart of Fairford Leys in Aylesbury.

The HLTA role within St Marys school is of key importance. You will be responsible for providing the children and teaching staff which the support they need to Shine. In addition to LSA responsibilities the HLTA role responsibilities include:

  • To cover and lead class teaching for PPA and short term absence
  • Prepare the classroom for lessons that they are leading
  • Mark work taught where appropriate in-line with the school’s marking policy
