The successful candidate will have the chance to innovate and introduce new teaching strategies, including outdoor learning and sensory-based approaches and will join a team in the resourced provision areas of the academy where they will work collaboratively with the SENDCo to support all staff in developing the highest quality provision, develop and grow our resource provisions for our students which are designed to support children with additional needs in a nurturing and inclusive setting.

The purpose of this provision is to provide bespoke curriculum provision and support for pupils who have Communication and Interaction as their named SEND need and provide enhanced support for students to enable them to access the wider mainstream curriculum as appropriate.

You will be based at Waverley Primary Academy, however the role may, on occasion, involve working at other academies within the trust.
