Sport's Coach and KS2 Forest School Lead

9 hours per week, 1.5 days per week, Monday PM and Tuesday all day

Upper Arley C of E Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Sports Coach and KS2 Forest School Lead.

 

This is a unique opportunity to inspire pupils through high-quality physical education and outdoor learning. The successful candidate will promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork and resilience, while delivering engaging Forest School sessions that connect children with nature.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across the school, alongside some PPA cover where needed.

Lead a sports club

Coordinate and deliver KS2 Forest School sessions

Support pupils in developing confidence, teamwork and physical skills

Ensure activities are safe, inclusive and accessible for all pupils

Maintain equipment and outdoor learning spaces

Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the wider school community

 

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience coaching sport or working in a primary school setting

Holds a Forest School qualification

Is passionate about outdoor learning and child development

Can motivate and inspire pupils of all abilities

Demonstrates strong organisational and communication skills

Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
